How long have you been working in the Industry?
I first started in the carpet industry as a designer back in December 1989. December 2019 will be 30 years of service to this industry.
What territory do you currently cover?
I currently cover San Diego, Hawaii, Colorado, Arizona, and Miami.
What inspires you professionally?
I enjoy helping clients with creating artwork that meets or exceeds their expectations.
What is your favorite aspect of your job?
I enjoy working and visiting with my peers and friends. I also enjoy helping our design team with suggestions that may resolve problems they are having when asked.
What are your most favorite things on your desk?
My desk is pretty boring because I do not like clutter. I would have to say my Georgia Bulldogs mug, my monthly calendar, and cell phone charger.
When you are short on inspiration how do you reenergize; where do you go for inspiration?
Pinterest and Google are good starting points. Nature is another great source. When I need to reenergize, I prefer to watch and listen to the ocean.
What made you decide to showcase the trend/designs that you selected?
This was an older collection that never received a fair chance with Marketing or Publication. I believed I could bring parts of it to life with adding textures and updating the color palate.
