What is your earliest memory that motivated you to pursue a career in design?
Growing up in India, I was drawn to color and design from a young age. During my time as a Merchandising Manager for an export company in India, I made the decision to pursue a Master’s degree in design. This passion for creative expression through design has been with me ever since.
Infuse 029 Inspiration
What's been your design process when you developed this infuse collection for Durkan?
I’m always inspired by nature. When I was suggested to work on a collection, I was immediately drawn to the idea of the ocean, its elements, textures, and the fluidity that was inspired my walks on the beach. The colors are rather inspired by the vivid Mediterranean oceanic colors from my trip to Greece.

When you are short on inspiration, how to you regenerize; where do you go for inspiration?
Definitely outdoors. Nature is my go to, to re-energize myself. Be it walk on a beach, greenway trail, a nice hike or go kayaking in serene waters.
